Medial Meniscus Tear Treated With Autologous Platelet Grafting

Today, we saw a patient that we had treated in 2009 for treatment of her right knee. An MRI demonstrated a tear of the medial meniscus with an anterior cruciate ligament sprain.

Treatment

She was treated for five sessions using autologous platelet grafting seven years ago. She came in today to treat her left knee and she reported that the right knee has continued to be pain free since 2009. She is now retired, fully active, exercising, traveling and enjoying her life.

This is another great example of the healing and potent antiinflammatory effects with a treatment using regenerative medicine techniques.
