Arthritis Study Observation
Here we saw a gentleman today that we have been following for 10 years with arthritis of his knees, wrist and toes. We treated his knee today and we see bone on bone arthritis with obsoletely no joint space whatsoever and bone on bone arthritis with his first toe.
With this case, it highlights in my opinion, arthritis in the appearance of the joint does not correlate frequently with the pain that the patient experiences. This highlights that osteoarthritis is an inflammatory condition brought about by the degeneration. If we can control the inflammation naturally with regenerative therapies and natural anti-inflammatories, then the pain can be eliminated despite the appearance of the x-ray which may demonstrate bone on bone arthritis. Of course, this is just one case and the results are not the same with every patient.
Website case studies are provided for educational and evaluational purposes of the available treatments offered by our office. It is important to note that although Dr. E. Magaziner has a high rate of success treating patients, there is no guarantee of a positive outcome given the variables relative to each case and individual being treated.
