Foot And Ankle Pain Treatment Program
Foot And Ankle Pain Patient Background
Today I treated for the second time a very active female in her 70s with a diagnosis of severe osteoarthritis of the right foot and ankle. She was treated by a podiatrist with steroid injections which gave her only temporary relief to the point where the podiatrist recommended surgery. She then went to see an orthopedic surgeon, a foot specialist, who told her she had arthritis of the left foot and that the risk of surgical fusion to those areas could leave her with a worse situation. Instead, they put her on anti-inflammatory medications and anti-inflammatory creams, which ultimately did not help.
Combination Treatment Program
We treated her with precise image guided injections of PRP and Exosomes to each joint that was involved.
Positive Patient Outcome
After one treatment, she was able to go on vacation, hike up hills, and walk without pain.
We give this case study to demonstrate the potent anti-inflammatory and pain relief effects of these types of treatments as an alternative to surgery and steroid injections, which frequently have a risk of making the condition worse.
