Stem Cell Treatment Helps A Patient Avoid Surgery
Multi Treatment Program
- Regenerative treatment on knees
- Bone Marrow and Amniotic Stem Cell Grafts
- Serial PRP Treatment
Bilateral Knee Replacement Recommended
Today we completed treatment on a patient who is a 76-years-old and was complaining of bilateral knee pain. With her bone on bone arthritis, she was told by an orthopedist that she needed bilateral total knee replacements.
Stem Cell and PRP Treatment
In order to help this patient we put her through a treatment course of bone marrow and amniotic stem cell grafts, along with serial platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatments.
We are pleased to report that after five months her knee pain is 0/10. This 76 year old will be able to get back to her normal routine pain-free, and she can enjoy her increased mobility without the burden of frequent pain.
We provide this case study to give an example of a patient who even though she had bone on bone arthritis, had the ability to obtain prolonged pain relief with these types of treatment. It was not believed that we regenerate the cartilage, where there was none to begin with, but we relieved her pain by reducing the inflammation and restoring more healthy joint fluid.
