In the past open surgery was the only option to release an entrapped nerve causing pain. However, with years of clinical experience, Dr. Magaziner has been successfully treating entrapped nerves with a more natural and non-surgical approach.
At East Coast Spine Sports Regenerative Medicine we use real time Ultrasound imaging to see the entrapped nerve and then percutaneously release the nerve from surrounding scar tissue with water pressure and surgical instruments. The advantage is no cutting, and no scar tissue formation. The disadvantage is it may take a few treatments to be successful.
Individual results may vary from patient to patient.
